The East End Vipers
The East End Vipers are a jazz project of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. based producer/multi-instrumentalist Bill Davis. The East End Vipers play jazz and pop tunes from the 30's to the 60's. "Viper" style bands have been popping up all over the world. The idea is to play jazz that is not elitist or cerebral, just fun. We are having fun.
About Us
Bill plays an Epiphone Emperor hollow body electric guitar, mandolin and sings.
Louis Kugelman plays tenor and soprano sax, clarinet and flute.
Philip Jevin plays a small and unusual cocktail drum kit.
Ryan Lamoreux plays tuba and trombone
On the recordings below for the CD "Jazz Band", Jack Exter plays upright bass. Karen Sanchez plays Tuba on some of the videos.
The East End Vipers specialize in Happy Hour shows. We would love to play yours.
Below are demos recorded live in the studio. They are recorded live on the instruments and microphones that we use to perform and are without "punch ins"
Vocal and horn harmonies are produced with the same Digitech Live4 Harmony processor used in our live performances.
